Ark Journal Volume XVI explores the idea of home as a continuum, shaped by those who came before and those who inhabit it today. Through architecture, interiors, art and design, the issue considers how spaces evolve over time while retaining traces of their past.
Featured stories include Ramdane Touhami’s home in Rome’s Palazzo Borghese, Ronan Bouroullec’s house in Brittany, Nicolas Trembley’s 14th-century priory in southern France and Athena Calderone’s TriBeCa apartment by Danielle Siggerud. The issue also visits Minjae Kim and reflects on the seven-decade practice of Tobia Scarpa.
A thoughtful exploration of architecture, objects and the way we live with them.
